Life Magazine Special Issue March 29, 1943
Special Issue USSR
Makes for fascinating reading about events during the WW II war years with entire issue devoted to articles concerning our major "ally", the Soviet Union/Russia, our dealings with them, our perceptions about them and their perceptions about us. Ads are interesting, too. Can you imagine men's leather dress shoes for $6.00 to $8.00?
Joseph Stalin on covermagazine measures 14" x 10.25", too large to fit the entire cover on my scanner. Many B&W and color photos.
Condition: Used. This magazine is perfectly readable, but is showing its age. Minor dog ears on page corners, most pages are still quite white, but center 4-6 pages have pulled loose from staples.
